Monster Bars

One Bowl, no flour, easily made gluten free, and one of our family favorites for years!
Servings: 9 bars

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 75 g granulated sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • 125 g peanut butter
  • 17 g butter
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 4.5 oz old fashioned oats
  • 50 g chocolate chips (I used mini)
  • 50 g M & Ms

Instructions

  • Follow Instructions found at the link below. They are the same for this recipe, except for the size of the pan and the baking time. Spray an 8X8 pan with cooking spray and bake the batter at 350 degrees for around 15 minutes, or until the edges become a golden brown.

To make egg free, instead of using an egg, add 2 tablespoons of water, 1 teaspoon of oil, and 2 teaspoons of baking powder to the recipe.
