Basil Lemon Chicken Marinade
A flavorful chicken marinade that will pair well with many dishes and doesn't use oil!
- 10 g fresh basil leaves
- 20 g fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp garlic (5 g)
- 1/2 cup water + 1/2 tsp chicken bouillon granules (or 1/2 cup chicken stock)
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until well combined and the basil leaves are mostly chopped up. Add into an air tight container or bag with up to 2 pounds of chicken breast. Allow the chicken breasts to marinade for at least 4 hours and up to overnight. The longer they marinade, the more flavor they absorb!
